Costa Cruises New Pricing Structure Announced

Costa Cruises is hoping their new pricing structure will be easier for their guests to book a cruise. The new program is designed to offer a range of budget options for guests by breaking the pricing into four categories.

The new pricing structure highlights four core components; greater transparency to choose all-inclusive packages, reward early bookings, more attention to families and the option to choose among luxury, all-inclusive
and base packages.

Scott Knutson, vice president of sales and marketing for Costa Cruises North America said:

“Costa is an innovator in the cruise industry, and our new price system is another example of how we listen to our guests and improve our offerings based on their needs and feedback,”

“With the variety in our new rate levels, Costa provides standard packages for those who are budget conscious, as well as rates for those who’d like to treat themselves to some
extra privileges.”

Specific Details of Costa Cruises New Pricing Structure

The Basic tier is the most affordable option and includes a standard stateroom and complimentary access to gala dinners, entertainment, activities, pools, spas and fitness facilities.

Comfort Classic provides access to the complimentary services included with the basic tier, along with beverage package, which allows guests to choose from a selection of unlimited wines, beers and soft drinks by
the glass for lunch and dinner. Guest will also be able to choose their own stateroom.

Comfort Premium includes and enhanced Brindiamo beverage package offering guests favorite drinks at any time of day during their cruise. Guest may also choose their own stateroom and fist or second dinner seating.

The Deluxe tier allows guests offers guests suite accommodations and access to premium services and luxurious amenities, such as one-day spa access, and the Intenditore beverage package, which provides unlimited drinks priced up to $9 served by the glass. With the Deluxe package, breakfast, lunch and dinner is served in the Club Restaurant. The Deluxe tier also includes a fruit basket replenished daily; a bottle of Ferrari sparkling wine; Illy espresso coffee; a complimentary in-suite minibar; a pillow menu; complimentary in-suite breakfast  and 24-hour complimentary room service.

The new structure is available for cruises departing on or after April 1, 2018.
