Carnival Horizon to Debut Teppanyaki Restaurant

Carnival Cruise Line is planning to expand their popular Asian Restaurant onboard their newest cruise ship Carnival Horizon. The Bonsai Sushi specialty restaurant will be expanded to include a Teppanyaki experience.

Located on Carnival Horizon’s Promenade Deck, Bonsai Teppanyaki will offer a wide-ranging menu with authentic delicacies from the Far East prepared by highly skilled chefs who will create tantalizing dishes on custom-built stations that form the center of the venue’s two eight-seat tables.

In keeping with Carnival’s atmosphere of spirited and participatory fun, dinner at Bonsai Teppanyaki will be an unforgettable culinary experience with chefs engaging with diners and dazzling them with their amazing knife skills and other performance elements.

“The new Bonsai Teppanyaki promises to be a wonderful addition to the Carnival Horizon, offering delectable cuisine from the Far East enhanced by show-stopping performances by our talented and engaging chefs,” she added.

The menu for Bonsai Teppanyaki will feature a choice of five appetizers and seven entrees including Teriyaki Salmon, Lobster Tail and Filet Mignon. Pricing for the new specialty restaurant ranges from $18 – $30 depending on your choice of entree. Meals will be concluded with a chocolate bento box with green tea ice cream.

Carnival Horizon will be the sister ship to the hugely popular Carnival Vista that was launched in April 2016. A third, yet unnamed, Vista Class ship is also under construction. Just prior to the Carnival Horizon’s arrival to her year-round home port of Miami, the Carnival Vista will reposition from Miami to Galveston, Texas.
