Royal Caribbean is planning to makeover the Mariner of the Seas in a big way. The $90 Million-dollar refurbishment, the largest amount Royal Caribbean has ever spent on a single ship, will have the ship in dry dock for six weeks after transitioning from her current sailings in Asia.
Once Mariner of the Seas has completed her transformation in late June 2018, she will commence 3 & 4 night sailings from Port Miami to the Bahamas. Mariner of the Seas will be the largest cruise ship sailing regular short cruises to the Bahamas. The timing will also coincide with the completion of the new dock facility at Royal Caribbean’s private island of CocoCay, Bahamas.
