MSC Cruises is continuing to invest in PortMiami as the hub of their U.S. operations. A new Cruise Terminal AAA at PortMiami will be constructed to accommodate MSC’s World Class cruise ships that will carry up to 7,000 guests. The MSC Cruises Terminal AAA is expected to be completed by October 2022.

MSC Cruises already has the MSC Seaside, launched this past December and sailing year round from PortMiami. Additionally, the MSC Divina will return with seasonal cruises to the Caribbean from Miami from October through March, MSC Armonia will commence sailing to Cuba from Miami in December 2018 and the largest ship in the fleet, MSC Meraviglia, also launched in 2017, will arrive in November 2019.

The first World Class ship is due to be completed in 2022, just in time for the new terminal. MSC Cruises has not yet confirmed specifics on where the new ship will commence sailing from or any details on itineraries, but the news of the MSC Cruise Terminal AAA at PortMiami would appear to indicate their intentions.
