The last of the original Destiny/Triumph class ships from Carnival Cruise Line will undergo a major dry dock in 2020. The Carnival Victory will go into dry dock for 38 days on March 18, 2020 and when she emerges, she’ll be loaded with new enhancements to dining, entertainment and activities and be sporting the new name of Carnival Radiance. This will be the third in the Sunshine ship class already consisting of Carnival Sunshine 2013 (originally Carnival Destiny) and Carnival Sunrise 2019 (originally Carnival Triumph).
The Carnival Victory originally launched in 2000, has already received several new enhancements in 2018 during a 17 day dry dock, which included adding Guy’s Burger Joint, New Staterooms and Suites, RedFrog Rum Bar, BlueIguana Cantina, BlueIguana Tequlia Bar, Bonsai Sushi Express and Cherry on Top. Additionally, every stateroom on the ship was refurbished while the ship was in service between 2016 and 2017.
