AIDAnova Cruise Ship Taking Shape With New Tail Section
The construction of the world’s first LNG cruise ship is progressing rapidly. AIDAnova now under construction at the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. The first of two huge ship modules was moved from the assembly hall and taken to the dockyard equipment quay. It makes room for the second engine room module of AIDAnova to progress. Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line Adding Second Ship
Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line announced in August that they had signed a 10-year agreement with the Port of Palm Beach and that they had purchased a second ship that will also be based at the Port. The company has named the new ship, Grand Classica. Grand Classica will carry up to 1,680 guests and features 685 staterooms, a multitude of restaurants and bars, a theater, two pools, four hot tubs, wellness center and spa, outdoor jogging track and more. Carnival Fascination Getting Massive Makeover
The Carnival Fascination, one of Carnival Cruise Line’s popular Fantasy-Class ships will undergo a multi-million-dollar dry dock to add the line’s newest food and beverage venues. The new spaces include Guy’s Burger Joint, the cocktail pharmacy-themed Alchemy Bar, BlueIguana Cantina Mexican eatery, Cherry on Top sweets shop, the poolside RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar, and a Bonsai Sushi Express venue. Princess Cruises announced that the name for their next Royal-Class cruise ship will be Sky Princess. Currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Montfalcone, Italy, Sky Princess will join sister ships Royal Princess, Regal Princess and Majestic Princess.
