Preview of Carnival XL Cruise Ship as First Steel is Cut
A brand new class of cruise ship and the largest ever for Carnival Cruise Line had its first steel cut at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Turku, Finland. Royal Caribbean is continuing with its $1 billion Royal Amplified fleet modernization program. Port Canaveral, the popular Central Florida Port and home to Disney Cruise Line, announced record-breaking results from all operations, and new high-water marks for the Port’s major business lines of cruise and cargo. MSC Cruises to Build Four Ultra Luxury Cruise Ships
MSC Cruises has announced that they plan to further expand they’re already unbelievable new build schedule with plans to build four Ultra Luxury cruise ships. With these new ships MSC Cruises now has 17 new ships on order to be delivered through 2027. The ships, the first of which will be delivered in Spring 2023, will have gross tonnage of approximately 64,000 GT and will feature 500 staterooms. Carnival Victory Transformed to Carnival Radiance in 2020
The last of the original Destiny/Triumph class ships from Carnival Cruise Line will undergo a major dry dock in 2020.
