Carnival Horizon, the newest cruise ship from Carnival Cruise Line, celebrated the official naming ceremony by the ship’s Godmother, Queen Latifah. Following the ceremony, Latifah squared off against Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl champion Jake Elliott in Lip Sync Battle: Horizon modeled after the hit Paramount Network TV series and rolling out across the Carnival fleet. Following the completion of an extensive dry dock, Carnival Legend will sail exciting new itineraries to Alaska, Hawaii, Australia and the Panama Canal before repositioning to Tampa in 2019. Norwegian Cruise Line’s latest addition to their fleet, Norwegian Bliss, arrived in New York City to kick off a series of inaugural stops during a month-long celebration. The ship will also visit Miami, Los Angeles and end in Seattle where she will home-port for the summer with sailings to Alaska. The latest cruise ship from Norwegian Cruise was officially delivered to the line today from the Meyer Werft shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany.
