Carnival’s Homeport & First Look at New Cruise Ship
Carnival Cruise Line is on a growth spurt, both in number of ships in their fleet and the size of their cruise ships. The Cruise Line has reached an agreement in principle with the Canaveral Port Authority on a new state-of-the-art terminal able to accommodate its new 180,000-ton ship, the largest ever constructed for the line, set to debut in 2020. Princess Cruises Announces Name of 5th Royal Class Ship
As the hurried pace of new cruise ship announcements and launches continues, Princess Cruises has announced the name of their 5th Royal Class cruise ship set to launch in June 2020. Carnival Triumph to Become Carnival Sunrise After $200 Million Refit
Carnival Cruise Line announced plans to makeover the Carnival Triumph with a $200-Million dry dock, that will transform the 19 year old ship with venues that are found on their most recent cruise ships. Princess Cruises to Build Two NextGen LNG Cruise Ships
Princess Cruises has ordered two ships with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri S.p.A., on a next-generation platform that will be dual-fuel powered — primarily by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), the marine industry’s most environmentally friendly advanced fuel technology and the world’s cleanest burning fossil fuel.
