Norwegian Cruise Line’s latest addition to their fleet, Norwegian Bliss, arrived in New York City to kick off a series of inaugural stops during a month-long celebration. The ship will also visit Miami, Los Angeles and end in Seattle where she will home-port for the summer with sailings to Alaska. The latest cruise ship from Norwegian Cruise was officially delivered to the line today from the Meyer Werft shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany. In attendance at the handover ceremony, were executives from Norwegian Cruise Line, including Andy Stuart, president and chief executive officer, Harry Sommer, executive vice president of international business development, Robin Lindsay, executive vice president of vessel operations for the 16-ship fleet, representatives from Meyer Werft including Bernard and Tim Meyer, managing partners of the German-based shipyard, and the ship’s captain and hotel director.
