MSC Cruises Welcomes Revolutionary MSC Seaside

At the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone , Italy, MSC Cruises officially took delivery of the MSC Seaside. In attendance for handover ceremony was the President of the Italian Republic , Sergio Mattarella, and other top government officials as well as senior management from MSC Cruises and Fincantieri.

MSC Seaside is the largest cruise ship ever built in Italy. Her sister ship, MSC Seaview, launching in 2018, will cruise the Western Mediterranean in the summer of 2018 before repositioning to Brazil for South American cruises beginning in December 2018.

As the first ship in the Seaside-Class of vessels, the revolutionary design is one that will easily recognizable and a perfect fit at her new home-port of Miami, Florida. MSC Seaside offers many exciting features, including two zip lines, massive aqua park with first-of-a-kind interactive water slide, expansive outdoor promenades, unique array of accommodations, nine dining options, all-new first-class entertainment and is one of the most breath-taking and beautiful cruise ships inside and out.

MSC Seaside will sail from Trieste, Italy on December 1, 2017 on a 20 day Transatlantic voyage to Miami, Florida. The official naming ceremony will take place on December 21 at PortMiami. From Miami, the MSC Seaside will sail alternating 7 night Eastern and  Western Caribbean itineraries.
