Hurricane Irma Altering Many Cruise Ship Itineraries

With Hurricane Irma tearing a path through the Caribbean and approaching the coast of Florida, Cruise Lines are alternating or canceling many itineraries over this weekend and into next week. Cruises departing from ports from New Jersey down to Miami are affected.

The graphic below shows 10 cruise ships just off the coast of South Florida respositioning to calmer waters before the arrival of Hurricane Irma. This is not a regular occurrence, especially on a Friday afternoon.

Those with plans to cruise this weekend or early next week should have already received a communication from their cruise line or travel professional.
